SEA WALK PAVILION - Jacksonville Beach, FLORIDA
In December 2006, the SASSY TAPPERS performed their Christmas production
on the stage of the Sea Walk Pavilion as part of Jacksonville Beach’s “Sounds of
the Holidays” celebration. The show included all original tap dance routines,
choreographed by Ms. Patty Zipperer, to a variety of favorite Christmas music.
Santa Claus made an appearance and danced a solo to the delight of children of all
ages.
VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION - Thomasville GEORGIA Cultural Center
December 2007, the SASSY TAPPERS, by special invitation, were the featured
entertainers at the Thomasville Cultural Center during the city’s Victorian
Christmas Celebration weekend. Added to this year’s Christmas program, were
Frosty the Snowman and the Parade of Toy Soldiers, an original precision march
number.
ROTARY CLUB'S TALENT EXPLOSION - Beaches Area
As part of a Beaches Rotary fund raiser for charity, the SASSY TAPPERS
entered a local talent competition. During the online voting phase of the
competition, the Sassy Tappers came in first place among 30 contestants based
on a video of some of their prior performances. By doing so, they raised the
most money among all of the contestants for charity. In January, 2008, on
FCCJ’s Wilson Center stage, the SASSY TAPPERS performed a dance routine to
compete with the other finalists in the competition. Three singer soloists won
the competition, but the Sassy Tappers won the hearts of the audience as great
entertainers!
