Ms. Patty Zipperer is the dance instructor and choreographer for the Sassy
Tappers.  She is assisted by her sister, Jane Bull.  Patty owned her own dance
studio in Georgia for 32 years.  Upon her retirement in July, 2001, she and her
husband moved to Florida to be close to family.  In January, 2002, Patty was
approached by Leslie Lyne, Director of the Neptune Beach Senior Activity
Center, to teach tap dance to seniors as a exercise class.  The first class
consisted of eight ladies.  As the weeks and months went by, more ladies came
into the class and wanted to dance.  Short dance routines were introduced to the
class and because these ladies were so dedicated to learning each routine to
perfection, Patty felt that these Seniors needed to be seen and thus the
"SASSY TAPPERS" were born.

In September 2002, this group of energetic ladies performed in public for the
first time and since then have established themselves as prime entertainment in
the Jacksonville, FL area and beyond.
